OVERVIEW

This unit provides participants with the skills and knowledge required to safely operate a dozer in the civil construction industry.

  • Plan and prepare for dozer operations
  • Operate dozer
  • Select, remove and fit attachments
  • Relocate the dozer
  • Carry out machine operator maintenance
  • Conduct housekeeping activities

PRE-REQUISITES

  • We provide on-site training and assessment services. Please ensure that a haul truck is available and accessible at your location for the training session.

  • Proficiency in the English language is required. Participants will be asked to complete a brief literacy and numeracy assessment.

  • A USI Number (Unique Student Identifier) Visit: www.usi.gov.au

  • Safety footwear

DURATION

1 day – could be variable dependent upon applicants ability.

TRAINING & ASSESSMENT

Two (2) assessments will be conducted at the completion of training – Knowledge and Practical Assessments.

LICENCES & CERTIFICATION

This course is a Nationally Recognised Training and applicants deemed competent at the conclusion of the course will be provided with a Statement of Attainment and a wallet-size competency card issued by Intrain National Training Academy RTO 91759.
