COURSE OVERVIEW

In this forklift license course you will learn the skills and knowledge required to drive forklifts effectively and safely.

A forklift licence will allow you to operate all types of forklift.
Dirtworx Training & Assessing covers all the functions you need to understand, in order to operate a forklift and obtain a high risk work license from Worksafe Victoria.

DURATION

3 Days

PRE-REQUISITES

  • Participants must be a minimum of 18 years of age.

  • You must be able to converse and comprehend the English language.

  • You will need a USI Number (Unique Student Identifier) Visit: www.usi.gov.au to find or apply for a USI.

  • You must supply 100 points of identification, including (1) form of current photo identification

  • Wear comfortable and practical clothing and enclosed safety footwear.

ASSESSMENTS

Three (3) assessments will be conducted over the duration of the course – Knowledge, Calculations and Practical Assessments. All critical components must be demonstrated and answered correctly.

LICENCES & CERTIFICATION

This course is a Victorian Worksafe accredited High Risk course and applicants deemed competent at the conclusion of the course will be provided with a Statement of Attainment and the appropriate Licensing Body’s - Licence to Perform High Risk Work Application form.
This application is to be lodged at Australia Post (within 60 days of the date of assessment) which incurs an additional cost and payable to Australia Post.

You will receive an email from myWorkSafe that contains your Training ID. The email will contain a link that allows you to upload the Notice of Assessment (NOA) to enable you to lodge your licence application.
