This unit provides participants with the skills and knowledge required to safely operate a vehicle loading crane.
Vehicle loading cranes are commonly mounted on trucks and utility vehicles and are used across construction, transport, civil and infrastructure industries for lifting and moving loads. Safe operation is essential to minimise risks to people, equipment and property.
In the Dirtworx Training Vehicle Loading Crane course, you will learn the necessary skills to plan lifting operations, conduct pre-operational checks, safely operate the crane, move loads and complete shut down and maintenance procedures in line with workplace requirements and manufacturer specifications.

PRE-REQUISITES
Proficiency in the English language is required. Participants will be asked to complete a brief literacy and numeracy assessment.

TRAINING & ASSESSMENT
Written activities, verbal questions, observation and practical demonstration will make up the assessment for this course.
LICENCES & CERTIFICATION
This course is a Nationally Recognised Training and applicants deemed competent at the conclusion of the course will be provided with a Statement of Attainment and a wallet-size competency card issued by Intrain National Training Academy RTO 91759.
