Load and Unload Plant

COURSE OVERVIEW

Loading and unloading of plant from a float or trailer must be handled carefully to ensure the safety of workers and the integrity of the mobile plant.
The operator must receive adequate training to load and unload plant economically and safely. This course focuses on the skills and knowledge required to Load and Unload Plant in the Civil Construction industry.

PRE-REQUISITES

• Have a good understanding of mobile plant equipment
• Competency Card/Statement of Attainment for whichever plant you are loading/unloading
• Ability to comprehend the English language
• A USI Number (Unique Student Identifier) Visit: www.usi.gov.au to create or find your USI.
• Safety footwear

DURATION

1 full day – could be variable dependent upon applicants competency

TRAINING & ASSESSMENT

Two (2) assessments will be conducted – Knowledge and Practical Assessments.

LICENCES & CERTIFICATION

This course is a Nationally Recognised Training and applicants’ deemed competent at the conclusion of the course will be provided with a Statement of Attainment and a wallet-size competency card.
